Transitions provides counseling and mental health services in English to the expat community of Medellin. Jenna is a Registered Psychotherapist in the state of Colorado in the US. She holds a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and a Bachelors in Human Services. She has been helping individuals and families navigate tough transitions for over the last 16 years, from families and individuals navigating life in a new country, the loss of a job, stressed relationships, to adjusting to the loss of a loved one. Jenna is also very familiar with the struggles and anxieties that can come with navigating a life in foreign country.
Her clinical experience is diverse and includes working with the expatriate and nomadic community, high-risk youth, adult drug and alcohol abuse, grief, trauma, domestic violence, mental health disorders in adults and children, and marital and couples therapy.
As a Counselor, she is qualified and trained to help individuals, couples, families, and adolescents.She takes a systemic approach to problems using strength-based models such as Emotionally Focused, Narrative, and Cognitive Behavioral therapies.
These approaches will help you find efficient and lasting resolution to the problems for which you are seeking therapy.

Transitions offers 1:1 counseling in English for adolescents and adults. The 1:1 counseling approach is person centered and geared towards each individual's unique needs and desired therapeutic goals.
Transitions offers family counseling to family units and pairs within a family unit (ie. parent/child), that is focused on effective communication, and or struggles with transitions and adjustment.
Transitions offers relationship counseling to committed couples who may be struggling to overcome road block in their relationship.
